Drive is a high performance clear sealer for driveways and concrete surface that dries to a high gloss ‘wet look’ clear finish and provides a smooth washable surface, protecting from stains, spills and reducing the ability of moulds, algae and lichen to discolour the surface.

Drive is well suited to protecting new surfaces or restoring aged and faded concrete, stencilled, patterned and stamped concrete.

Shalex Drive is designed to seal and protect the surface of concrete to help stop stains from spills and moisture. By sealing your driveway and concrete you can keep these surfaces looking great for years to come.

Being UV stable, Drive won’t discolour or crack under the harsh Australian Sun.

To keep your driveway or concrete looking great, it is recommended to re-seal the area every 18 – 24 months.

Available in 5 L, 15 L and 200 L.

ANTI-SLIP ADDITIVE

If you are using Drive on horizontal or sloped areas which may become slippery when wet, it is recommended to use an anti-slip additive to help improve grip.

Consider using some of our Anti-Slip Powder.

  • Concrete slabs
  • Garage floors
  • Stencilled and spray on cement based resurfacing mixes
  • Slate (Not Dark Slate where temperatures exceed more than 50 degrees C).

NOTE

Gloss levels are affected by cleaners and other environmental factors and a loss of gloss is to be expected over time, although the sealer will continue to protect your concrete.

Avoid washing cars or using waxes or detergents on your sealer as these may lead to build up and make re-sealing more difficult.

IMPORTANT

A simple moisture test is to tape a small square of cling film or plastic to the concrete and leave for an hour or so. If there is no condensation or moisture the surface is generally safe to seal. Note that in colder temperatures, moisture may not be evident.
